Led by Dr Daniel Knight, Zeroed has proven itself as a leading provider of shooting range solutions by integrating design, manufacture, procurement, construction and maintenance into a complete service offering. Supported by the Manteena Security team, Zeroed offers a single end-to-end solution for all of our client’s shooting range and live-fire training facility needs.

 

Our team understands security sensitivities and has extensive experience working in secure construction for Government and the private sector. We have comprehensive security processes in place, including systems to ensure information security is maintained, and can adhere to defence and law enforcement requirements.

Zeroed’s onsite team is highly experienced and qualified for the installation and maintenance of shooting range systems. Working closely and collaboratively with head contractors, or directly with client stakeholders, we ensure seamless delivery of our innovative, market-leading systems.

Our specialist team of Engineers and Architects go the extra mile to provide Building Information Modelling (BIM) for shooting range and targetry systems, ensuring complete integration within client facilities.

Our Team

General Manager / Director

Dr. Daniel Knight

Daniel became Australian lead for Manteena Security’s shooting range capability in 2019, focusing on large scale live-fire training facilities for law enforcement, defence and defence industry. After successfully growing the capability, Daniel was appointed General Manager and Director of the newly established Zeroed in 2021.

Daniel has been involved in every major Police training facility recently built in Australia, including retrofits to existing ranges. He has developed a strong relationship with many policing units across Australia and has built a thorough understanding of Law Enforcement’s live-fire training facilities.

Daniel holds a PhD in Structural Engineering, a Bachelor of Civil and Structural Engineering (Hons), Bachelor of Finance (Business) and a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. He is a published author of peer reviewed structural engineering journals and maintains a keen interest in product developments and technologies.

Director

Andrew Kemp

Andrew acts as a Director of Zeroed, and General Manager and Director of Manteena Security.

He leads a team of highly qualified construction security practitioners, who are focused on delivering outstanding securely built facilities and works within secure areas.

With a portfolio of clients including Australian Federal Police, Attorney General’s Department, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Department of Infrastructure, Andrew has an exceptional understanding of the importance of security, safety and discretion.

Andrew’s understanding of secure facilities, modular SCIFs and Zoned areas provides Zeroed customers with added insight into the construction requirements of their facilities, and all relevant security requirements.

Technical Advisor / Project Director

Peita de Boer

Peita is an expert in complex security projects, construction and project management consultancy within Australia and overseas.

Drawing from her time as an Engineering Officer in the New Zealand Army, Peita has a unique insight into the critical role live-fire facilities provide in training end-users. She has played an integral role in the growth of Zeroed, contributing to the delivery of various facilities. Peita’s experience working with Government and Defence provides valuable expertise to the delivery of shooting range projects.

Peita was awarded the Distinguished Service Decoration from Her Majesty the Queen, holds a Masters in Engineering Science (Project Management), Bachelor of Civil Engineering (1st Class Honours) and is a Registered PRINCE2® Practitioner.

Senior Project Manager

Mark Holland

Mark Holland joined Zeroed in 2023 as Senior Project Manager, bringing over thirty years of construction industry experience to our team. Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated a profound ability to manage complex projects, emphasising technical excellence and quality outcomes. His prior role as Minor Works Manager at Manteena Group showcased his adeptness in overseeing key building works, ensuring meticulous project delivery and adherence to high standards.

At Zeroed, Mark is tasked with leading all aspects of project delivery, from initial design to final commissioning. His role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of compliance, efficiency and client satisfaction that Zeroed is known for. Mark’s initial responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of various Design and Construct range contracts within our ongoing law enforcement and defense industry portfolio.

Known for his approachable and collaborative style, Mark is an excellent addition to our team. He is committed to forming strong, effective relationships with clients and contractors, ensuring strategic planning and execution that minimises disruptions and maximises outcomes, especially in live environments.

Project Manager

Jerome Abdelmessih

Jerome brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Zeroed team from his time in the Australian Army, where he served for over a decade across Forces Command, the 1st (Australian) Division, the 2nd (Australian) Division, and Special Operations Command.

Throughout his military career, Jerome developed deep expertise in both dismounted and mounted range training, as well as in range governance and assurance, always with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and performance.

Project Administrator

Sebastian Luke

Sebastian is a skilled Project Administrator at Zeroed with nearly a decade of experience in commercial and residential construction. He brings proven expertise in contract administration, project delivery, and stakeholder coordination across major developments in the ACT, WA, and NSW.

His career began in façade manufacturing and installation, where he played a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for Tier 1 builders across the ACT, WA, and NSW. With a strong foundation in project delivery and client liaison, Sebastian transitioned into contract administration, where he managed procurement, subcontractor claims, and financial reporting for a $180 million multi-residential development in Canberra. His academic background in Construction Management and Business further complements his practical expertise, equipping him with a strategic understanding of project lifecycles and stakeholder coordination.

Now at Zeroed, Sebastian continues to apply his results-driven approach and collaborative mindset to a diverse range of projects. His proficiency with tools like Aconex, CHEOPS, and Project Simpel, combined with his attention to detail and strong communication skills, make him a valuable asset in both planning and execution phases. Passionate about expanding his project portfolio, Sebastian is focused on contributing to innovative and sustainable construction solutions, while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members alike.

Site Supervisor

Matt Knight

Matthew is a dynamic Site Supervisor with a strong background in civil, environmental and structural engineering, boasting over 8 years’ experience in the construction and marine infrastructure industries. Leading his own company and managing a variety of commercial projects, Matthew has excelled in roles encompassing scheduling, coordination, safety compliance and site supervision – along with engaging in effective client and stakeholder communication throughout all project phases. His experience spans across the deliver of projects in commercial construction, specialised design and fabrication plus marine infrastructure.

 

Matthew is skilled in offering project support, devising solutions and consulting with stakeholders. He stands out in coordinating and overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, swiftly addressing any concerns. Committed to upholding safe working practices and quality assurance, he proficiently performs safety, environmental and quality risk assessments to uphold these high standards.

Subject Matter Expert

Peter Wickham

With an extensive 37-year career in the Victoria Police Force,  Peter brings a depth of expertise to our team through his time in tactical policing. He trained and instructed in sniping and counter-terrorist assaulting, collaborating with elite units across Australia and internationally, including the USA, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New Zealand.
In the final chapter of his career, Peter played a pivotal role as an end-user consultant in the design and development of an  world-leading training live-fire tactical facility. His leadership and operational insight were instrumental in shaping the project, which he went on to manage with great success.
